Neurology

A neurosurgeon deals with the diagnosis, surgical, and non-surgical treatment of injuries and diseases related to the brain, spinal cord, and spine, as well as neurological tumors, vascular disorders of the brain, meninges, cranial nerves, spinal nerve roots, peripheral nerves, and the autonomic nervous system. They also handle disorders, deformities, and injuries of the skull and spine, as well as disorders related to blood supply. Patients of all ages are welcome to a neurosurgeon’s consultation.

Patients who have been referred by other physicians or have undergone diagnostic tests indicating neurological damage and requiring surgical treatment or evaluation by a neurosurgeon are welcome to a neurosurgeon’s consultation. If necessary, the neurosurgeon may order additional tests and perform nerve blocks.
