Look for appointment timesThe weight management package is a three-month programme for overweight or obese people (body mass index (BMI) over 25) who have not been able to achieve sustainable weight loss despite changes to their lifestyle, diet and exercise. This provides a safe and healthy approach to weight loss by creating a solid foundation for building sustainable diet and exercise habits and achieving long-term weight loss and weight maintenance. Ozempic is a great weight loss aid, but a healthy diet and regular exercise are equally important. For three months, we will focus on introducing sustainable lifestyle changes that will help you achieve lasting results even if you decide to stop taking the weight loss medication.
The three-month package includes:
- Measurement of blood pressure, height, weight and waist circumference
- Blood tests
- Haemogram with five-part leukogram
- Glycohaemoglobin (HbA1c)
- Creatinine, eGFR
- ALAT
- TSH
- Total cholesterol
- LDL and HDL cholesterol
- Triglycerides
- Doctor’s consultation
The consultation includes an assessment of your current health status and blood test results. The doctor will then evaluate whether weight loss treatment with Ozempic is right for you. There will also be a doctor’s consultation in the second and third months of the package. - First dose of Ozempic and instructions for injection’
If the doctor confirms that there is sufficient need and indication for treatment, you will receive the first dose of the medication along with instructions for injection and a prescription for subsequent doses. - Nutritional Counseling (2 x per month) and personal training (1 x per month)
The weight loss medication can help lower your blood sugar and reduce appetite, but you will also need a balanced diet and regular physical exercise to achieve the best possible results. Ozempic is more effective in combination with a healthy diet and exercise; its health benefits are then longer lasting.
