Circuit training
Circuit training is a full-body strengthening group workout where exercises are chosen and structured to develop strength, endurance, balance and flexibility. The training rotates in circuits, moving from one exercise to another within a fixed time interval. The rests are short to keep the training intense and efficient. The workout uses a variety of equipment, such as gym machines, bars, dumbbells, discs, and body weight. The exercises train both the upper and lower body effectively
Purpose of the training:
- increase general physical activity
- develop muscle strength and body endurance
- change body composition (focus on reducing body fat)
Who is circuit training for?
- beginners – the workout is adaptable according to individual physical fitness
- advanced and/or recreational athletes who include strength and endurance workouts in their training programme
- health enthusiasts who want to improve their overall health and are interested in regular physical activity
Important information
- wear comfortable workout clothes and shoes and bring your own water
- there is a changing room and a shower on-site
If you have a history of (sports) injuries or mobility issues, we advise you to consult your doctor or physiotherapist and get their approval prior to joining the class.
