Tooth extraction
Look for appointment timesPlease note that this service does not include wisdom tooth extraction.
Tooth extraction is a surgical procedure performed using anaesthesia. A tooth is usually extracted in cases of chronic root inflammation that does not respond to treatment or extensive crown damage. The tooth will only be extracted if it cannot be treated.
Before the extraction, the dentist will ask about your general health condition (chronic diseases, allergies, medications, etc.). Given the importance of knowing the particularities of the tooth’s structure, a dental X-ray will be performed before the procedure. This helps determine the exact location, position and shape of the roots of the tooth to be extracted.
If your dentist has recommended tooth extraction, it is strongly advised to have the procedure as soon as possible. An untreated tooth is a source of infection that poses a risk to other teeth and the entire body.
The price of €80 serves as a pre-payment – all procedures performed during the appointment are for a fee; the pre-payment will later be deducted from the bill.
Contraindications:
- Upper respiratory infections (e.g. influenza, COVID-19 virus)
- Oral herpes
We accept patients from the age of 19.
