Vaccination at your company

We offer seasonal vaccination for your employees, possibly on-site at your company. Vaccination helps protect your employees and ensures your company’s health and productivity.

Vaccination helps to build immunity similar to having had the infection, allowing harmful microorganisms to be destroyed before they multiply extensively when encountering the disease later. This is how vaccination prevents the spread of infections.

We offer the following vaccines in companies:

  • Flu vaccine (season October – February).
  • Vaccination against tick-borne encephalitis (season March – September).

Although many vaccine-preventable diseases are seasonal, vaccination can be done year-round. It is important to monitor vaccination frequency and dosage to ensure timely protection for employees.

In addition, we offer travel advice and travel vaccines for those who travel frequently to different countries or to high-risk areas.

Good to know. We also offer testing for various diseases!

Vaccination against tick-borne encephalitis

Look for appointment times

Tick-borne encephalitis is an infectious disease that can be severe and affect the central nervous system, which in turn may cause permanent residual symptoms. Vaccination provides effective protection against tick-borne encephalitis.

When and how often should you get vaccinated for tick-borne encephalitis?

It is recommended to start the course of injections against tick-borne encephalitis in early spring so that immunity can develop in time for the period in which ticks are most active. Vaccination against tick-borne encephalitis is available for adults and children from the age of one at any time of year. At Confido, you can get vaccinated against tick-borne encephalitis at any time of year.

Vaccination consists of three injections: the first two are done 1-3 months apart, and the third one up to a year later. Immunity will have formed after the first two injections, but it only lasts for one season; the third injection will prolong immunity.

Revaccination for tick-borne encephalitis after the third dose:

  • Ages 16 to 60 – If you are under 60 years old, the first revaccination should be done three years after the 3rd dose. Subsequent revaccinations should be done every 5 years.
  • 60 and older – Generally, you should be revaccinated every 3 years.

Before coming for a repeat vaccination, please check on the Health Portal whether sufficient time has passed since your previous vaccination. If it is not possible to administer a vaccine for reasons arising from the patient, a nurse appointment readiness fee (€ 15) must be paid.

Who should get vaccinated?

Everyone from the age of one can get vaccinated, but it is particularly recommended for those at higher risk of exposure to ticks either due to lifestyle or occupation, including rural residents, forestry and agricultural workers, hunters, border guards, members of the defence forces, etc.

All vaccinations done at Confido are recorded in your vaccination passport, which we ask you to take with you when you come to get vaccinated. If necessary, we will issue a new vaccination passport for an additional fee (€10).
