Since 2009, I have been working at East Tallinn Central Hospital Centre of Spinal Surgery. My main professional interests are the spinal deformations of children, teenagers and adults, but on a daily basis I work with pathologies of the entire thoracic and lumbar areas of the spine. As more and more spinal surgeries are performed with minimal invasiveness, I’m one of the first to work with robotic surgery in Estonia and the surrounding region. I think that training young colleagues is very important. From 2016 to 2018, I was the Baltic representative at AOSpine and, since 2012, I have taken part in organising AOSpine training courses in the Baltic countries and Scandinavia.
