Aesthetic surgery

Plastic surgery is a part of surgical medicine that deals with the restoration, improvement and correction of visible deformities and defects in the human body using methods such as tissue restoration, repositioning and transplantation.

Aesthetic surgery, or cosmetic surgery, is a part of plastic surgery where the operations and procedures performed generally do not have a medical indication.

During the plastic surgeon’s consultation, the patient is counselled and evaluated, and as a result, an individual treatment plan is established that takes into consideration the patient’s needs and wishes as well as various treatment options. During the consultation, the surgeon explains all the risks associated with the treatment and introduces the procedures that will be performed.
