Dr Alo Kullerkann graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tartu in 1997. His speciality and vocation is orthopaedics, i.e. the opportunity to keep people mobile. As a doctor, he has always valued continuous self-improvement. He has worked in hospitals in the USA, France, Sweden and Austria and finds annual participation in international conferences to be essential. Only with the most up-to-date specialist knowledge can patients be treated in the best possible way. Dr Kullerkann has represented the Republic of Estonia on rescue missions in Indonesia and Pakistan as well as on a military mission in Afghanistan. In addition to Estonia, he has worked as a doctor in Finland for many years.
Dr Kullerkann can be consulted for all orthopaedic problems, but he has a special interest in everything related to the shoulder joints: fracture surgery, prosthetic surgery and arthroscopic surgeries. Dr Kullerkann is one of the few surgeons in Estonia to carry out shoulder and elbow endoprosthetic replacement. As a former elite athlete, he is interested in all aspects of sports traumatology.
