Cryolipolysis for the chin
Look for appointment timesCryolipolysis is a non-surgical treatment for reducing fat cells in a target area, which, in addition to destroying fat cells in different areas of the body, can be used to reduce chin fat.
Fat forms under the chin mostly due to ageing and is, in many cases, influenced by genetic predisposition. After major weight loss, the skin under the chin may also sag and the fatty tissue there may remain. In contrast, weight gain may also cause excess fat under the chin.
To achieve better results, cryolipolysis can be combined with lipolytic injections. Cryolipolysis for reducing chin fat is suitable for both women and men.
How does cryolipolysis reduce the fat cells under the chin?
The effectiveness of cryolipolysis is similar to surgical liposuction, while being a simpler and faster procedure associated with fewer risks. During cryolipolysis, fat cells are destroyed through freezing. When a fat cell is cooled to a certain temperature it produces heat energy and undergoes apoptosis, i.e. the natural death of the cell.
During the treatment, the mini-applicator is placed on the area containing fat deposits. The device then draws the fat fold into its nozzle and treats it with cold. You will feel cold during the procedure. The fat cells will break down over time and are then expelled from the body.
Regarding the suitability of the procedure, we recommend consulting with a specialist. If it is not possible to perform the booked procedure due to the client’s reasons, the client will be responsible for the consultation fee.

- Kidney disease
- Malignant tumors
- Diabetes (unless the treatment regimen works and blood sugar readings are stable)
- Infection, skin disease, or acute inflammation in the treated area
- Hypertrophic scars in the treated area
- Use of a pacemaker
- Regular use of anti-inflammatory drugs
Cryolipolysis does not require any special preparation.
After the procedure, there may be swelling, bruising, and loss of sensitivity in the treated area. It is recommended to be physically active and eat healthy to improve the results.
The results of the cryolipolysis treatment will start to show in around six to eight weeks. Most clients require an average of two to three treatments per area no less than four weeks apart. The number of procedures necessary depends on the goals and expectations, how much fat tissue needs to be removed and how the body reacts to the treatment.
